How to Cook
For best results cook from frozen. The following instructions are guidelines only, wash hands utensils and all surfaces thoroughly after handling raw meat or poultry and all packaging. Do not wash poultry before cooking. Ensure the product is piping hot, thoroughly cooked, juices run clear when the thickest part is pierced and no pink colour remains before serving. The chicken may be slightly pink on the surface after cooking due to being in contact with the bacon, this will not affect the eating quality.
Oven from frozen
Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius or 180 degrees Celsius for a fan oven or gas mark 6. Remove sleeve and film from the foil tray. Cover chicken loosely with foil. Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven. Cook for 1 hour 30 minutes then remove the foil covering, drain any excess liquid. Return to the oven for a further 30 minutes. Leave to stand for 10 minutes before carving.
Air Fry from frozen
Pre-heat air fryer to 150 degrees celsius for 3 and a half minutes. Remove all packaging. Place chicken in air fryer basket and place in air fryer. Cook for 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before carving.
Oven from defrost
Defrost in a refrigerator for 24 hours. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius or 180 degrees Celsius for a fan oven or gas mark 6. Remove sleeve and film from the foil tray. Cover chicken loosely with foil. Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven. Cook for 1 hour 0 minutes then remove the foil covering, drain any excess liquid. Return to the oven for a further 15 minutes. Leave to stand for 10 minutes before carving.
