It comes in a ready-to-roast tray meaning less time prepping and more time spent with family and friends. Perfect for a weekend roast or served with pineapple, chips and peas for a midweek dinner.
How to Cook
For best results cook from frozen. The following instructions are guidelines only. Wash hands, utensils and all surfaces thoroughly after handling raw meat and all packaging. Ensure the product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot before serving.
Oven from frozen
Oven from frozen. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees celsius or 180 degrees celsius for a fan oven or gas mark 6. Remove sleeve, film and glaze sachet from the foil tray. Place galze sachet to one side. Cover gammon loosely with foil. Remove sleeve, film and glaze sachet from the foil tray. Place galze sachet to one side. Cover gammon loosely with foil. Return to the oven for a further 15 minutes. Leave to stand for 10 minutes before carving.
Air Fry from frozen
Pre-heat to 150 degrees celsius for 3 minutes 30 seconds. Remove all packaging. Place glaze sachet to one side. Place gammon in basket and place in the air fryer. Cook for 1 hour 10 minutes - 1 hour 15 minutes. Pour the glaze over gammon and return to the airfryer for a further 10 minutes. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before carving.
Oven from defrost
Defrost in a refrigerator for 24 hours. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius or 180 degrees Celsius for a fan oven or gas mark 6. Remove sleeve, film and glaze sachet from foil tray. Place glaze sachet to one side. Cover Gammon loosely with foil. Place on baking tray in the middle of the oven. Cook for 1 hour 30 minutes then remove the foil covering, drain any excess liquid and evenly cover the gammon joint with the maple glaze. Return to the oven for a further 15 minutes, leave to stand for 10 minutes before carving.
