You can find me in the UK

Aunt Bessie’s family size pancake mix: not just for Pancake Day. For quick and easy pancakes, whisk this mix with egg and water, fry on the hob, and serve with your favourite toppings. Whether you like to sweeten with sugar, syrup or spread, or go savoury and eat them for lunch or tea. And don’t be shy – there’s plenty to go around.

How to Cook

  1. Place 120g of powder into a large bowl.
  2. Add 1 medium egg and 250ml of cold water then whisk until smooth, and transfer the mixture to jug to aid pouring.
  3. Lightly oil a medium non-stick frying pan and heat until every hot. Pour in enough batter to thinly coat the base of the pan.
  4. Cook for 1-2 minutes on a medium heat until golden brown on the underside.
  5. Turn over then cook for a further 1-2 minutes.
  6. Transfer the cooked pancakes to a warmed plate and stack on top of each other until ready to enjoy with your favorite topping or filling. (120g makes approx. 4x8" pancakes.)
  7. Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
  8. Serve immediately.
