1. Spider web pancakes
Spooky season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with these spectacular spiderweb pancakes? These super fun Halloween pancakes are topped off with berry spiders, for that extra creepy-crawly feeling, leaving your littles ones wanting more! Simply follow our easy steps to brew up some magic in the kitchen!
•Place 120g of Aunt Bessie’s pancake powder into a large bowl. Add 1 medium egg and 250ml of cold water into the bowl and whisk until smooth.
•Transfer the mixture into a squeezy bottle to help you create the perfect spider web shape, to trap your prey in!
•Next, lightly oil a medium non-stick frying pan with butter or oil, whichever you prefer, and heat until hot.
•Start to craft a spider web with your pancake batter. You will need a picture as a reference point to help you along the way.
•Cook for 1-2 minutes on a medium heat until golden brown on one side.
•Flip the pancake with a rubber spatula and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.
•Once cooked, serve your spider web pancakes with berry spiders and dust off with icing sugar and candy floss, to give it that spidery feel!
2. Ghost pancakes
Begin the day with a Boo! Whip up these ghoulish pancakes with chocolate chips for a frightfully fun breakfast. It’s the perfect way to start the Halloween festivities and takes the boring out of breakfast!
•Place 120g of Aunt Bessie’s pancake powder into a large bowl.
•Add 1 medium egg and 250ml of cold water into the bowl and whisk until smooth.
•Transfer the mixture into a jug or squeezy bottle to help you craft the perfect ghostly shaped pancake.
•Next, lightly oil a medium non-stick frying pan with butter or oil, whichever you prefer, and heat until hot.
•Pour in enough batter into a ghost shaped cookie cutter to thinly coat the base of the pan.
•Cook for 1-2 minutes on a medium heat until golden brown on the underside.
•Remove the ghost shaped cookie cutter, flip the pancake, and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.
•Whilst the batter is cooking add in two chocolate chips to form eyes for your ghostly pancakes.
•Once fully cooked through serve and stack your ghost pancakes and top with your favourite toppings.

3. Pumpkin shaped pancakes
A delicious pancake that's ready in a jiffy. No tricks here! We sure do love a simple and easy breakfast here at Aunt Bessie’s. These haunting Halloween pancakes do just that! Get your cauldron (frying pan) at the ready, to fright and delight your little ones with pumpkin shaped pancakes!
•Pour one sachet of Aunt Bessie’s American style pancake mix into a large bowl.
•Add 10tbsps (150mls) of cold water and 2 medium eggs to the dry mix and whisk into a smooth, thick batter.
•Lightly oil a medium non-stick frying pan with a 1/4 tsp of vegetable oil and heat until hot.
•Add 2 tbsps (30mls) of batter into a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter to thinly coat the base of the pan.
•Cook for 1-2 minutes on a medium heat until golden brown on the underside. Remove the pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter, flip the pancake, and cook for a further 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
•Once fully cooked through serve and stack your pumpkin shaped pancakes and top with your favourite topping.
•Make sure to eat straight away, otherwise you may have some witches arriving at your doorstep! Scary!
4. Skeleton pancakes

•Add 1 medium egg and 250ml of cold water into the bowl and whisk until smooth.
•Transfer the mixture into a squeezy bottle to help pour the pancake batter.
•Next, lightly oil a medium non-stick frying pan with butter or oil, whichever you prefer, and heat until hot.
