1. Whipped cream, chocolate syrup and chopped nuts
Dive in into your personal Chocolate Factory dream by taking chocolate syrup to the next level! Drizzle warm chocolate syrup over your waffles, add a generous serving of whipped cream and top with chopped nuts. Delicious!
2. Marshmallow fluff, digestives, and chocolate sauce
This one is for those with a hard-core sweet tooth! Spoon Marshmallow fluff over your waffles, crumble digestive biscuits over the top and finish with warm chocolate sauce.
3. Lemon curd and icing sugar
If, you’re after something light and refreshing, this is the best waffle topping for you!
•To make lemon curd you’ll need to put lemon zest and juice, sugar, melted butter and eggs in a bowl, over a pan of simmering water.
•Mix everything together and stir for approximately 10 minutes.
•Strain the cooked lemon curd through a sieve to remove the lemon zest. If you like it hot then pour directly onto your waffles, otherwise place it in a sterilised jar and leave in the fridge for an hour or so.
•Spoon over your cooked waffles, top with icing sugar, and enjoy!
4. Peanut butter and jelly
If you don’t mind sticky hands, then this is the one for you! Simply add as much peanut butter as you want on top of your waffles and finish with your favourite fruity jam.
5. Cinnamon sugar
